| well it was a good winter, would have been better without the twobig meltdowns we had. I put 510 miles on my new APEX and it is a great machine but I did have two problems. The thing eats hyfax sliders in low snow conditons. Skid and track genetate a lot of heat and friction. My Cats pack snow in the skid and I have 1800 miles on my ZL800 and the hyfax look like new. The Apex also over heats inhard pack conditions or road riding. There is a factory rear heat exchanger option which should be factory stock that will fix the problem.

| If you do alot of road riding, or marginal snow riding, I suggest you put the ski-doo or polaris wheels on your yamaha, I did, they work excellent, a little taller so it keeps hyfax away from track clips, also have you changed your 100% antifreeze out of your sled? cause yamaha puts all antifreeze in them, try those two things, and you will get 4k miles on a set of hyfax, with no overheating.
