Was up by Lakes of the North this weekend. Talk to the owner of the Northern Bear. He said that Star Township will be voting on ATV right of way riding. It sound like Antrim County was leaving it up to the townships to decide for them selves's. They have a meeting on May 6th(PM). So if you are a rider of that area try to make it or have a letter made up letting them know you would like it opened. Also mention opening the road sides threw Lakes of the North to the trail head. Tomorrow is the meeting for Star Township. If you are a resident in the area and would like to see this ordinance pass please attend. If you are a property owner/or a cottage owner please try to attend. Can't make the meeting get letters to the board members stating your support of it(with name & address). Well it looks like this got shot down. Not enough support. They may look at it as a county(Antrim) in September. So now we may have to contact the county officials.
