We are headed up to Baldwin since they just got over 6 inches of new snow. We have been up 3 times this year and always stay at Red Moose Lodge. One time we got their cabin over by the Little South Branch of the Pere Marquette--- it is a great cabin with plenty of parking for the trucks, trailers and sleds. They have lots of trails also and not as far to drive as way, way up. It is just and hour and a half from Grand Rapids and about 35 minutes from Big Rapids. The rooms are super big and clean. You need to check them out. Great people and they welcome pets. They have a cute little dog by the name of Rose.
