click on the title words and it'l take you to another page ,under the tilte words you'll see where it says Maps toward the right click on that .it'll bring up a page that shows michigan. then just move your pointer over the places where you plan to ride. No need to click on the snowmobile on that page!!

Make sure you double check this map! It has not been updated, I have seen to maps in michigan on this site that are NOT updated, so double check.  Mustang are you sure you followed these trails on this site??  cause I know from following the one to traverse DOES NOT go where it says it goes, it does'nt go to four mile, also I heard some u.p. trails are different than what the map says.

some might not be up dated then sorry didn't know ,but i do know the ones i use are right.i guess we need to find out who does the map work on the web and have a talk to them  and see if they want to pay for gas or come recover a gas less sled because of someone taking a bad trail map.

What a great attitude to have.  I have no clue who runs this website, but it would appear to me that they are doing a pretty good job of it.

Snowmobile trails are not freeways.  TRAILS CHANGE!  It is a fact of our sport, deal with it.  And personally it is my opinion that if you are dumb enough to run out of gas while snowmobiling then you deserve what you get, regardless of what the map says.  This isn't Alaska where the gas stations are 100 miles apart.  This is Michigan, where there is a gas station at almost every major intersection.

You obviously have the mental capacity to use a computer, so why haven't you googled "michigan trail maps" and gone to the DNR website, or any of the other sites out there with Michigan trails on them?

If you are so concerned over the status of the maps on this site, then why don't you plop your rear on your sled and start plotting some GPS coordinates for the trails? I know, I know, it's far easier to complain.

There are over 7,000 miles of trails in this state that change every year. I just got back from the UP and found a Detour that took us 40 miles out of the way and the gas station I used last year closed. I carry 2 gal extra just for those ocassions.

If the maps has a GPS date on it it is correct that year. I redraw as much as I can. The maps on line are to give an idea. No maps in print or on line are 100% right. I bought a 09 map while up there and found 3 trails not right on that one. I run that website by myself, all photos, maps, graphics, videos and stories I research and make by myself. If you can do better have at it, I will check it out. ROOKIE!

Everything Changes-trails change, gas stations close, new ones open etc. Start a new topic Titled 09 Trail and Gas stop Changes and people can put in things as they find they changed.Detours happen, its just part of the game. And,I think the Administrator of this site does a darn good job of keepin it up to date.

No problem, I wish the people that change them would tell the public. I got on a 40 mile detour, change in trail 8 last week. Run with my fuel light flashing for 20 miles. And now with the economey the way it is gas stations and restaurants I have stopped at for years were closed up. I started carring extra gas this season because of it. When you do see errors in my maps just e-mail, me and I will make the fixes. It's really hard to know when they are chaged unless I ride it or someone lets me know.

HAVE FUN BE SAFE!

This is a great site, that is all I was saying, just letting my fellow snomobiler's know before they venture out, I just came back from new berry, Grand Marais, paradise areas, excellent time, trails perfect, but lots of detours, and logging, so plan appropriately. Rudyard was a little bumpy, up by whitefish point was absolutely beautiful.
