I am part of a group coming up to the UP for snowmobiling. I am looking for some advice.... What are the distances by snowmobile from Hurley, WI to Silver City, Silver City to Copper Harbor, and Copper Harbor to Baraga. Does anyone have any suggestions for fuel along any of these legs?
Thanks for your help!

| We were going to spend a night in each town and hit the trails in each area... unless the distances are relatively close together.

| We had friends go from Hurley to meet us in Bergland by Noon to travel as a group to Houghton. Did all of the loops along trail 3 and still made it to Houghton in time for dinner. Do the side loops! No Gas in Silver City any longer. Stop and fill in White Pine. All those legs are easily doable as long as you don't start late and stay too long at any rest stops. Only one gas location in Copper Harbor-the guy in the box.

| Thanks! We just got back home to Tennessee yesterday. The trails were AWESOME! We ended up putting on right over 1000 miles... we spent two nights on Lake Gogebic, one night in Watersmeet, two night in Twin Lakes, and one more night on Lake Gogebic. It was the best snowmobiling trip any of have taken - one of our riders is 79! The snow north of Houghton was the most that I have seen. I will post pictures later this week on teamarctictn.com if anyone is interested. Attachment: Sled trip 2009 003.jpg (Downloaded 40 times)
