I had my clutch side cylinder seize up on me. it ran great all day and 1 mile from the truck it locked up. when I pulled the plugs I found the 1 to be sorta melted. I couldn't roll it over with the recoil until I rolled it backwards using the clutch. Does it sound like that cylinder leaned out? And what would have caused this? What should I be looking for when I tear it down?

| Is that a triple? sounds to me she leaned out, I know triples had problems with the seal going bad on the clutch side, there for leaning it out.

| is it a fan or liquid? was the plug whitesh in color? can u see the top of the piston, sounds like it leaned out, check the boots to the carb, no cracks, check seal next to clutch, does it run?

it's liquid cooled. i wouldn't say the plug is white, but it is pitted and the other plug is tan and looks good. i can't see the top of the piston but i could feel that it was catching in the cylinder. i haven't tried firing it again.

| without seeing it myself, it could be numerous things, carb pluged, jet plug, definetaly lean on that side, did it loose power slowly, or just shut down? I had a yamaha vmx 500, did the same thing, found out the seal was bad on the clutch side, tear it down that will tell you alot more of what happened, for some reason it was sucking air, or not getting lube. good luck
