I'm looking to buy a 4-5 year old sled and have no idea what to buy.  40 years old who hasn't been on sled in 15 years will be riding mainly on trails in MI.  Looking for great riding sled that i don't have to mess with all the time.  I am not a speed freak but also don't want to buy something that i will regret later.  Any suggestions or info. much appreciated................

with trails being sooo bad since thay have raised the permits the last time to fix them. we have made many freinds off trail to ride thier property. we do ride on trail with permits for gas and food. get a least 600cc 121 inch track sled for trail use. if going off trail get a least 800 twin and at least 136. polaris, acrtic cat, yamaha, and skidoo all have great sleds. if the 2 stroke smell is a problem  get a cat t-600 turbo or the yamaha 4 stroke, better gas mileage and no smell.  the polaris 800 have had bearing and crank shaft failure. some of the newer digital dash sleds need a firmware flash to their computers to run right. some of the injected cats run too rich and you install a jet in the feul line and problem fixed.
