I've been trying to find out if there are dates that ORVs aren't allowed on State land due to hunting.  Particularly looking for information on Bull Gap.  Is this open year round?

All ORV trails on State land are closed during firearm deer season (Nov 15-30). There are a couple exceptions, such as riding at night (ok, but not necessarily the best thing to do during that time of the year) and from 11AM to 1PM.

Best just to stay out of the woods for those two weeks.

Bull Gap is on National Forest land, but similar rules apply.

If you want to be certain, it's best to contact the Ranger District for that trail, which is in the Huron National Forest:
