| I have a stock 600. I want clutching for max performence. I was told just to change drive spring from dk blue/white stripe to purple. Is this correct? With out changing multiple springs & weights around, is there a certian set up I can use? Thx Bob

| Clutching for what??Racing? If so an easier thing to do is Lean forward off the line and when the track starts to spin pull back on the handlebars for all your worth.Its cheaper than messin with the clutch Unless its a racing sled.Then yes change out the springs-but for the occasional race against your buddies,Techinque Wins hands down.

| LOL, I disagree, it all depends on snow conditions (ice, hardpack,) are you studded? for starters u can mess with your secondary clutch settings, more twist to the helix for quik starts, or less for slow starts less spinning in like powder snow, or loose snow, theres alot to be learned about clutching, especially if your gonna change weights in primary clutch, I would advise you to call slp racing or someone that has already tried setups, I used to deal with slp. the ramp setups on the weights can be altered, some have pins or rivets that can be taken out for lighter, and more tourqe, remember u might think your sled is running good with the change you did to your clutch, but you really might loose horse power over that curve.
