I decided to buy me and her our own sleds..For beginers I purchased two arctic cats 580 ext.One being a mountain powder long track..the year is 1994 for both..Her sled has 3700 miles with new track and runs great. My sled 8300 miles and decent track also seems to run very well..I say very well running condition becaus I work on outboards and boats and I seem to know what a good running motor should at least sound like..we are going to take them to marquette with us to visit family.Should I worry about the sled with higher miles???any advice will be greatly appreciated matt...

check all of the boge wheels ,there is a grease fitting where the speedo cable attaches to axle or shaft . make sure there is no play in that bearing,if your speedo is not working thats a good sign that the bearing needs replaced .check the clips on track that wear on your slides, check your slide for wear they wear in  the front of your skid frame where it cuurves.look down your y pipe for piston wear on exhaust side thats were they usually burn down good luck be safe most of all have fun
