Here are some photos of a sturgeon I caught in the north channel of Lake St. Clair on Sept. 29th. It was 60" long and Over 55lbs. ( I couldn't get an accurate weight on it because I had to hold the scale over my head and the fish was still touching the ground because of the length of the scale. But even so it read 55lbs with the fish still on the ground!)

Nice strugeon!

Where on the channel did you hook into this one? Back in 73 dad and I were fishing for walleye, between the Harson's Island Ferryboats and the middle channel, and hooked into a 6 1/2 footer on 12lb test. Took over 3 hours to get it in the boat. Was one of the best times we had getting that one on the boat.
