I have a 2008 Lund 1725 Explorer Sport, and I love the boat.  My one issue is that my steering wheel isn't quite adjusted properly.  What I mean by that is when I am driving the boat straight on flat water, the steering wheel is not straight, it's at about 1/4 turn.  I would like it to be straight so the Lund logo in the center of the wheel is readable and level.  It doesn't have to be perfect but closer would be nice.  I see that the Lund cap comes off on the steering wheel and there is a nut there.  I loosened the nut and took it off but the steering wheel didn't want to come off.  So I just left it the way it was.  What would it take to just turn the steering wheel a quarter turn?  Do I have to do more than take the nut off, or did I just not pull hard enough.  I didn't yank too hard on it.  Any suggestions?

The nut is the only thing holding the wheel on, just yank harder, they can be a bugger. When you get it off there is a key and three different key ways to adjust iy. Let me know how it goes.

Dustin, thanks for the help, I appreciate it.  I hate to sound like an idiot here but when you say there is a key, I'm not sure what you mean by that.  Are we talking mechanical key or a key on which way to turn something?  Is it on the steering wheel or the column?

It is a mechanical key, there is a groove on the steering shaft that it sits in, and there are 3 key ways in the wheel to adjust.
