| Are there any others that are having the problem of idleing eraticly, and or does not what to idle all the time and quits, if so we need to band together, and let arctic cat know that we are all tired of this ,there outlook is it only happens in 1 out of 5 machines, it shouldent happen to any, remember things only happen in numbers, lets put the pressure on them.

| Where did you get the info that A/C says it only happens on 1 out of 5 machines? I have been told since last year that they all do it and that it's just the nature of the beast. A/C also responded back to my dealer after they asked what to do about it. Their response outside of the nature of the beast speech was to check the following items that they have determined makes the stalling situation worse; using the original fuel cap instead of the vented one included in the fuel tank recall kit, running the belt to tight or using the wrong belt, using poor quality and/or low octane fuel, operating the machine before the engine is warmed up, and running the machine hard in marginal conditions (allowing it to be border line over heating). I have found that all these things do seem to contribute to the not wanting to idle situation but I sure can't get mine to stop stalling no matter what has been done. Try running your machine with an exaust analyzer. I found that my machine runs way to rich. I think that is what is causing this idle problem. If other people check theirs and find the same rich condition maybe we can get Cat to issue a reflash to correct the fuel mapping problem.
