I just bought a left over crossfire 1000. At idle this thing will vibrate the fillings out of your teeth. Does anyone know if this is normal? Even a little throttle calms it right down.

Thanks

I had the same situation on my 99 ZR 700.  Didn't seem to effect anything performance wise.  I think with a twin bored that big your gonna get that vibration at a low rpm.

Up the idle a bit to see if that works.

Yeah....that is a big bore sled for you.  There is ton's of vibration at idle, but grab a handful when rollin' through the trails and you forget all about that vibration.  I used some double stick tape on my recoil to get it from slapping.  Permatex on my exhaust springs only thing that vibrates now are my ski loops.  Tricks of the trade.
