How many have made the jump to 4 strokes? My family has three RX1's, my wife, son and I Love these sleds. Awesome power, great fuel economy and no 2 smoke smell any more on our gear. See pictures under my sled topic in this forum. Have a Great X-mas and a safe New Years!

Family of four.......My Nitro XTX, the wifes Attack and the kids two Phazers. I am all about the four strokes now! Done stinking up everything, constantly dumping oil in my machines and donating to terrorism at the pumps. My Attack and 138 hp. Nitro XTX will give any stock 2 stroke a run for its money. Yamaha is way ahead of all brands in a lot more than one way!

I have owned Yamahas my whole life. I'm a big two stroke fan. I love the smell of it. My brother bought a Attack and when I hopped on it I instantly fell in love with it. My Dad picked up a Vector and even though it didn't have the same power as the Attack, it was still very impressive. I have owned Phazers and V-maxed always and I am itching to get a new Apex. I love Yamahas durability and love the ride and power of there 4 stroke technology. They will always be the most reliable sled on the market and I can't wait to get the baddest 4 stroke they offer.

Just be ready for some flaws that EVERYONE that owns the apex is having, 3,000 to 4,000 miles doughnuts on exhaust are burning out, then shortly after that, the pipes where the clamps connect to the flex pipe are breaking because of the titanium pipes they use, no problems on the stainless pipes used on the 04 05 rx1, then about 5,000 miles the drive bearings go.  go to totallyamaha.com and read there forums, lots and lots of people complaining about those problems, my doughnuts went at 3,700 miles, same with my freinds, and my dads. I am putting an 04 rx1 pipe on mine, u have to weld 2" on the end, but its still cheaper than new, and benders pipes are stainless, but 500$.

My Turo Z1 will beat anything on the trail, STOCK 4 stroke. My 1200 cc 4-stroke Ski-Doo Renagade does better than most off trail also. I have been riding 4 strokes since the first one was made by Artic Cat. SMOOTH power all day and very few gas stops!

turbos and nitrous are not needed for twisty trails, those are excellent for u.p. long straight trails, and those wide open lakes, I can add turbo to mine, and make it a rocket to,  can only hit a corner especially without a good strong berm to hold you in at such a speed.
