My buddy & I got off work from the Tigers game last Saturday night & saw that Cheli's Chili Bar seemed to rockin' the house......decided to stop in for a cold one. There was a beer tent & a Rock & Roll band set up in the parking lot. As I'm drinking my beer, I peered into the window to see inside the bar....I couldn't F'n believe my eyes...right there was THE Stanley Cup & about a dozen of the DRW's doing a Coyote Ugly on top of the bar....Cheli, Dom, Drapes, Nick, Hudler, Ozzie, Lebda, Malts & some others...they were pouring beers into the Cup & letting everyone drink from it!! It was a F'n madhouse......too packed to get close enough to drink, but it was a cool sight to see!!
Guy behind me said he was a die-hard Pen's fan, but he now sees why they call it Hockeytown!!
