Spent a week on SML in Sept. of 2008. Just wanted to mention that there are rock hazards about 100 ft. from the pier at the south end access. They were not marked. They cost me a new prop. Next time I'll raise the motor a bit more (if I ever use that access again). I wish I could be more accurate as to their location, but my memory is not as sharp as it used to be.
