HI EVERYONE!  I DISCOVERED YOUR SITE THIS EVENING.

I SEE MOST OF YOU LIVE IN THE AREAS THAT ARE IN MY DREAMS!  I LOVE WATER--IT IS MY CALMING AGENT.  BEFORE I LEAVE THIS EARTH A PROMISE TO MYSELF LIVING ON WATER.

THROUGHLY ENJOY BOATING AND JUST LOVE BEING OUTDOORS IN THE SUNSHINE.

LAST EVENING TALKING TO A FRIEND ABOUT FISHING.  PERCH--MY FAVOROITE FRESH WATER FISH.  YEARS AGO I FISHED IN OHIO---PORTAGE LAKES FOR PERCH AND BLUEGILL.

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A LAKE??  REMEMBER THIS IS A NEW GAL ATTEMPTING AN OLD HOBBY. MY SISTER-IN-LAWS FAMILY USED TO FISH HOUGHTON LAKE IN PRUDENVILLE.   THINK THAT IS THE NAME.  THEY ALWAYS RENTED A SMALL,  OLD COTTAGE WALKING DISTANCE TO THE WATER.

HAVE A WONDERFUL EVENING!

SMILING J:)

Welcome to the site.

Not to sure about lakes around here for fishing though. I will be trying out the lakes this year.

I used to keep my boat out on salt river on Lk. St. Clair but decided to keep it at home this year and try out different lakes. Plus with the high cost of docking the boat, just can't do it this year.

Welcome smiley j

There are a lot of great lakes in Northern Michigan for bluegill and perch. Not sure what area you are looking info on. I live on the Inland Waterway and all of the lakes here are very good for both. Let me know where and I may be able to shed light for you.

Smiley, Go to the local sports stores in town. They are small and old but they have maps where structure has been made. Namely sunken xmas trees. Great spots in the summer. Also maple bay in the fall east of the crooked river mouth. just foolow the boats and anchor over the weeds .  Mav. PS it's Burt Lake I am referring to

Duane, you have great fishing there in Anchor Bay. Did you ever try keeping your boat at sun up marina at the mouth of the salt. The in and out storage was pretty cheap. mav

Stopped in there a lot last season for gas. I was thinking about that but decided to visit more lakes this year so I'm pulling the boat to the lakes this year.

Thanks,

-Duane
