Hey all,

Glad to see the new forum here.

My name is Duane and I live in Auburn Hills now. Used to own a house in Mancelona called makwa retreat.

 Born in the Keweenaw (Houghton/Handcock).

 I love snowmobiling, quading, boating.

I'm on plenty of sled and quad forums and glad to fishweb get their own :D

  Good job guys.

-Duane

Mawka,

Nice to meet you!  Thanks for being a part of the new community.

I grew up in East Jordan Michigan right down the road from Mancelona.  How did you ever end up in Mancelona?

Welcome to the site! Do you miss the UP? Auburn Hills is nothing like Houghton/Hancock - that's for sure.

It seems that some folks I talk to love being downstate and some can't wait to get back up north . . .

Oh yeah, I miss it:(

Wish I never sold my house in Atlantic Mine.

Moving back up there keeps crossing my mind but the work just isn't there.
