Hello all. Own a home and acreage between MC and Cheboygan. Have a 20' fishing pontoon that spent last summer on the Cheboygan River. Looking for a new slip for '08. Also own an ATV and like to shoot. Am interested in a fun fishing league on the Inland Waterway if anyone else is. I'm up all summer and whenever I can get up during the rest of the year.

Welcome! I sure I will run into you on the river this summer. I think a lot of folks that view Michigan Interactive truly love this area of Michgan. Good luck this upcoming season. I will send a note if I am coming up and maybe we can meet on the lake.

I love Mackinaw and go there a few times a year. This year I hope to ride the sleds over to the island for a ride. If fullfilled it would be a dream come true!.

Okay, a lot has happened since originally starting the thread. Still love it up here (though all this snow this past week was rough). I sold the pontoon boat last summer and then bought a motorcycle: A 2006 Honda VTX1800S3 (a dealer holdover) I found in Pellston. I love it thus far and will continue exploring with it up here this summer. In the first week of having it I both went over the bridge for the end of the Midnight Run as well as rode the Tunnel of Trees.

Smile :)

Hello all,

A lot has happened since I first started this thread. I have since sold the pontoon and boaght a motorcycle: a 2006 Honda VTX1800S3 that was a dealer holdover (Pellston). I love it thus far, and can't wait to keep exploring the region with it. The first week after getting it I headed over the bridge for the tail end of the Midnight Run as well as rode the Tunnel of Trees. Of course I have been customizing it since then (though this photo is from back in July when I got it home).

Smile :)

The forum does not let you edit a post after a defined period of time.   You might just try posting a new post.
