Fished all day with no results...drifted into about a foot of water where there were some pads and on my second cast with a moss boss this came out! :D

It was in the south end of Bass Lake (south west of Little Lake) where its all really shallow with pads scattered along the shoreline....definitely need a canoe or kayak.  Had to paddle out since the motor blades were in the muck or out of the water!  You can see in the pick the shadows of the pads on the bottom.

I'm always looking for fishing partners!!  Anyone in the MQT area?  I was happy I found someone to go with me for this trip otherwise I would have had a pic with the fish and a tape!

Also...a little hard to fish in a canoe with 1 person since the bow swings around in the wind.  I use 2 five gallon buckets filled with water if I'm alone.
