Yeah, it's my cousins boat up in the Keweenaw. We are planning a trip this summer to the Island and do some real fishing up there.

That last picture was caught by fishing with one of these. My grandfather started me fishing this way 25 years ago.

My grandfather use to take me hand-lineing for walley inthe Detroit River as a kid. He would use old window counter weights to get the lines down.

Oh yeah, My granfather would have all kinds of home made weights.

 Up in the homeland, we just call it jigging.

 The fish I caught on the fish stick (at home we call them "giboo's") was 350 feet down with steel line.

 Took my a few minutes to get her all the way up into the boat.
